I'm sure there's all that palliative care stuff in place StR, but the spokesperson has stated they followed procedure in this instance and called for police. So logic suggests the notion the woman could be talked down from committing a violent act, just wasn't so.
We shouldn't just dismiss the carers as useless and the coppers as mere thugs, without knowing what actually went down. Unless this is standard practice, it's an aberrant event and there was probably cause in the mix.
And I understand the outrage, if it was my mum I'd be in there demanding satisfaction.
