There's no doubt Stan Grant has Aboriginal heritage. Where have I ever questioned his Aboriginal status?
What I find both strange and sad is that he has to darken his skin colour, to make a political point. He looks ridiculous in trying to look "more" Aboriginal.
I don't paint myself Bronze Olive to prove I'm a proud Greek-Australian, and it certainly wouldn't make me more of what I am.
But I seriously question his 100% hatred towards whiteness, colonialism, Crown...that is NOT reconciliatory....
...so when he wears an obvious "kick me" sign, he just makes himself an easy target for everyone, including me.
