*shrugs* it is both an input and an output, a lower price will result in higher demand globally - we are paid on the value add generally.
The state that Nickel is needed to be in for battery production does not readily come out of the ground.
Previous posters have established that although the link to Nickel prices and profitability exists it is not a 1:1 ratio and the plant if I recall correctly is still well and truly profitable at these levels.
