in my experiences at the nearby plutonic mine years ago, a little rain can be really bad. The ground turns to a soup like mud quickly, so not surprised the recent rains delayed some actions. I was further north for the same rains, luckily the ground was more rocky so I could drive around.

VTEM will highlight black shales/carbonaceous shales very very well. Most geophysicists regard strong signatures as black shales and generally recomend downgrading their importance. This is because the carbonaceous shales act like a really large conductor. Trouble is, sometimes a black shale will mask a nearby sulphide conductor because it has a smaller footprint. That is like a single story house beside a skyscraper - the house is in the shade unless seen from the right spot.

Being that there is a little copper in the blcak shales, maybe some more VTEM targets have gone from low priority up to high priority? I think from a geos perspective, it means drill every target because nothing can be discounted as low priority.
