Hopeful. If they can carefully and authentically communicate with the market that will help matters. The above as you've described could look like a lights on raise in the guise of a "we need the money to make the most of all these growth opportunities" raise. Many a company sells their lights on raise as a great opportunity raise, (I'm not saying BMT are doing that) the market can be sceptical. Hence the need for excellent comms.
