'prior to the new tax' would be one of the cheaper properties available, even in regional centres such as Wodonga whose property values are amongst the lowest in Victoria.
Even Councils work on a Net Annual Value of 5% - that's $35,000 in rent on a house valued at $700,000 ...
NOT $20,000!
Now as for those '
Costs' of $7,000 you trotted out, yet again no documentation and way off the scale relative to my experience in renting out three bedroom homes over a fifteen year period [admittedly those homes were relatively new and low maintenance, albeit all later sold for handsome capital gains].
