The Police Officer involved will need to explain his actions to a court or tribunal. His peers will be his harshest critics..But the whole woke movement in Policing has been a failure going on twenty years now. Rampant career climbing, promotion of cronies, advancing incompotent tuck shop ladies for the sake of appearing woke has crippled the NSWPOL. The Emasculation of the Police 'Force' is complete. Society got what it wanted. Most real Police exited the door once they saw the ridiculous inequality. Those that could not perform even the basic core duties were given lofty promotions and in turn recruited whining minorities. NSWPOL is not alone, the same has happened in VIC POL and the QPS. The AFP were always just office workers with a pistol and should never be allowed outside and should stick to investigating fake stamps. The most important part of being a Police Officer is to be confident, fair and have will and commitment. These have been lost, discredited by those who can't even run the length of a football field. In turn you have the same group who cannot even disarm a harmless 95 year old but could probably write a 5000 word essay on gender politics. This incident highlights the course of modern western society, going backwards in pandering for the squeaky wheel....

Hi Kail
I saw this start to occur in Victoria many years ago and watched a very slim, young female police officer who would have needed a anchor in a stiff wind to stand up, on patrol in Melb but she had the biggest six shooter you could buy on her hip
So any altercation she would have to draw it and try to hold it up to enforce her will
I have female friends who are in the force and I admire them but I also would not like to tackle them in a fight, also have had female officers who can easily hold their own but all employees should be chosen on ability not race, sex or colour IMHO
