My bigger concern is that high

1) food
2) energy
3) rents and
4) interest rates

will destroy demand and lead to a very bad recession.

Something else we have in common with the Great Depression, apart from demand getting destroyed, is a huge disparity in wealth between the rich and poor. Improvements in productivity over the last 10 years have all gone to business owners rather than the workers.

This is why we have people working going to charity food outlets......

Todays politicians too young to know the lessons of the past from the great depression.
