    Whoops, common sense slipping. Wireless is great if you want your email or are desperate for a piece of info while traveling or away from home or your office desk, but as a media for Internet delivery it sucks - oops, is that being vulgar?

    The top speed for 802.11n is 248Mbps (wireless) but in reality you would be lucky to get 74Mbps (and probably 22MBps on average), although I don't believe 802.11n is available generally. So on average, you are stuck with 1Mbs, 2Mbs or 5.5Mbps for the time being and even then provided your not moving too much and are at an airport, city cafe, or standing still in a suitable terrain relatively close to a tower.

    Yeah, wireless will do it. NOT! And Telstra knows it.
