    Well isn't that the point. It is about race. It may not have been well judged from one perspective but from another it might have been precisely the time and space.

    I know many think that there is a proper time and place. But that of course feeds the narrative. Be a good little boy and only speak out when we say it is ok. Only say what we think is OK. Only look at history through our eyes and experience. Only... only. shush up and know your place.

    Just imagine if martin luther king had kept his mouth shut. Apart from the loss of one of the greatest speeches in history I doubt the civil rights movement might have made the progress it did. Or Mandela. Even if South Africa is troubled at least it is their own trouble and not that of a colonial power and enforced slavery and subjugation.

    My comments are intended to suggest that we try to look at events from more than one perspective. it can be instructive to step into the shoes of another.
