    And this is the problem for Ford.

    SQM nationalisation issues....which will hamper future investment, scaleability , and increases sovereign risk/issues.

    And Ioneer, stuck with environmentals at Rhyolite Ridge, which has blown out their timeleine and will not be able to supply carbonate 2025/2026.

    Guess who will produce carbonate by 2025/2026, is IRA compliant, has had meetings in Korea and is in proximity to Ford/SK On's manufacturing facilities?

Ford is the first automaker to commit to build both lithium iron phosphate and nickel cobalt manganese batteries in the US.

    What lithium salt is needed for LFP batteries?

    There's only 1 obvious answer based in Norh America to ALL these questions......
