Right now
because these are the words Albanese will be putting into the constitution
1. There shall be a body, to be called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice;
2. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice may make representations to the Parliament and the Executive Government of the Commonwealth on matters relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples;
3. The Parliament shall, subject to this Constitution, have power to make laws with respect to matters relating to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice, including its composition, functions powers and procedures.
Lets cut the crap! Those are the words we are voting on!
On point 2, will any other loby group be able to make representations to the Parliament and excutive government?????
So we are enshrining into our constitution a statement that contravenes Article 2 of the Universal Declaration of human rights which states
"Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status."
Why don't you cut your BS and concentrate on the exact words we will be enshrining into our constitution!

Why dont we enshrine into our constitution these words "Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status."
