Well, it seems that the polling done numerous times showing support for the project is finally making itself heard at the ballot box. Not sure how significant the mine issue was in any of the voting but it's good to hear that the winning candidates don't have any irrational opposition to the underground project. The area could become a big EU electric vehicle material hub with the battery gigafactory in Navalmoral de la Mata (100km away) just recently given final environmental approval.
