Rise in the Volume on the Small Ordinaries was lower percentage-wise than on the XAO. So, maybe the rise in the XSO was due to a little punting going on rather than any solid conviction from substantial analysis.
It's always difficult to make any conclusions on a one-day effect. The trend is more important. Today's outperformance by the XSO is just a little blip in the scheme of things.
