U should chk out the report by Maynard et al which was submitted last year to CTP.

According to that report block EP93 & EP107 have the are maximum tonnage of coal. Here's the breakdown,

    EP93: 8555 sqkm with 56m or 623.33 Btons coal
    EP107: 4060 sqkm with 16m or 83.3 Btons coal
Total: 12615 sqkm with 706.5 Billion tons

Note, we r not talking the entire 28442 sqkm (or 1.176 TT).

If u draw a polygon between these 4 wells listed below, i.e

    Blamore-1 with 138m,
    CBM93004 with 144m,
    CBM107002 with 65m,
    CBM93002 with 110m,

u'll see that CTP now knows the actual thickness of coal encountered in a much smaller portion within these tenements, which changes the equation completely & gives them multiple options to pursue in the future. That's what JH alluded to this morning in his BRR chat.

U could map the co-ords for the above wells in Google Earth (Pro version) & use the area function to calculate & calculate the tonnage, GIIP & rec gas (tcf).

JH also mentioned that gas desorption data (& other data moisture/ash/sulphur/calorific content etc) will b forwarded to NSA Inc. for a report due in 6-8 weeks.

For those not familiar with NSA, do chk out their report for Apollo Gas-Dart (code AZO) reported on the 11th June. Another operator, Linc used Xenith to compile their reports, whilst Altona-CNOOC used another mob. This is std protocol in this sector.
