While any trading theory may appear to have some relevance at a given point in time clarity – if any - only emerges retrospectively. In the day when trading theories were developed “things” were simpler and in many cases based on futures markets (mainly pork bellies if I remember correctly)
By simpler I mean what broker then and now could handle up to 60% of daily trades of less than 10 shares – in many cases single shares (Say 40 million trades over 1000 company).
This type of machine trading is not available to ordinary traders from either a system or financial perspective. Machine trading of a single share multiple times a day from both buy and sell perspectives is pure manipulation of the market to the advantage to a small group of large players.
Appraise yourself of the concept of “financial capital” and associated effect on the population in general.
There is a clear distinction I believe between a market manipulator and a market maker.
An example of a market maker, for example, could be when Rothschild knew the outcome of the battle of Waterloo – spread disinformation of the results to the London stock exchange – made a grand killing – until two days later it became known the British had won and panic subsided.
The difference between the two is that one is systemic and consistent and the other opportunistic.
The “likes of me” are not followers of any one but prefer to think for themselves and act accordingly.
