You know what BHP shares are right? Have a guess what they were in March 1985, How about $4.95 each. I know because it was the first parcel of shares I bought, only 200 off. Cost was $990. See if you can exercise your brillant chemical eng brain and tyell me what that 200 is worth today? Dont include the dividends, bonus shares, spin offs like BSL / OST / WDS /ARI etc. I think the capital gain will shi#e all over your rentals. LOL
