Tell me, if they hadn't already found an acquisition to the stage it has taken several months of looking for acquisitions, what possibly could have been the reason for a halt in the first place? It's not like there could have been a deal about to be signed where insiders were about to profit off knowing the details of an imminent deal? Companies explore these opportunities constantly without the need for a trading halt until the very final stages of a deal being finalised. I'm confused why they needed to be in a halt while they went through a several month exploration looking for acquisitions. Not finalising a deal, just looking...
Am I missing something that would have made it reasonable to halt on the mere thought bubble of an acquisition?
