"Pittance" - lets pull the other leg.
QLD teachers got a massive pay increase a few years back because "the standard of teaching was so low in QLD and they needed to pay more to attract better quality teachers."
Not one sub standard or low performing teacher was sacked. They all got massive pay increases.
Teacher aides seem to be the norm these days. Takes the "burden" off the teacher!!
Class size is down to 20? days. When I went to school we had 50 in my class.
I would like to know what teachers teach these days.
Seems to be indoctrination rather than teaching. Climate change is fact!! LOL
Kids get to university and the first year is spent getting them up to speed so they know what they should have known before starting Uni.
