Anglogold Ashanti have come out and stated Australia is on the bottom of their list for investment at present. Morgan Stanley has stated that they have remodelled the BHP Olympic Dam Expansion and believe it will not be viable under the tax. This is at the heart of the real problem as long as this proposal is on the table because investment in mining requires stability and certainty.

Despite the prospect of the super tax on resources there are many ASX listed stocks that have projects outside of Australia that wont be affected by the supertax.

Lets create a list of stocks that are not going to be affected by this super tax which will stand to benefit once the market awakens to this fact.

Atlantic Gold (ATV) have an interesting gold project in Nova Scotia Canada that will not be impacted by the super profits tax and they are moving closer to production and have a bankable feasability study due for completion in the June Quarter and resources of 1.2 Million ozs.
