If you look at both the employment data in Aus for the last 10 years and the performance of RFG you will see exactly the opposite of what is stated in that quote.
Peak unemployment = late 2014, early 2015 .... 6.3% Historic low unemployment = 2022 / 23 ..... 3.6%
Of coarse Josh was talking about Burger King and not RFG. Burger King, McDonalds, KFC, Dominoes etc didn't manage to cut their market cap by 99.4% during the 8 year decline in unemployment to its recent record lows. RFG managed this amazing feat in spite of the phenomenally good conditions. Lets face it, unemployment can only get worse from here and due to the efforts of RFG management, the RFG share price can't go much lower.
