    you absolute pillock.
Teacher aids are in classes that have kids with medically diagnosed disabilities. They are there to help teachers who otherwise struggle to teach the rest of the class and the kids with disabilities. Instead of providing adequate environments for kids with disabilities they are put in schools ill equipped to meet their needs and everyone suffers as a result.
50 in a class? I'm calling BS on that one. Just rubbish. For starters I've never seen an Australian school room that could accommodate 50 students.
Pay... where to start? Short term contracts. Having to work through breaks. Not having enough time to go to the bathroom let alone eat lunch. And the threat of violence from students and abuse from parents. It is no wonder Queensland has some of the worst teacher retention rates in the country.
I'm not sure which teacher hurt you but your experience should not colour your view of all teachers. They work hard under conditions I wouldn't put up with and nor should they.
