I had a brilliant school life. Never missed a day at school if I could help it. Loved my teachers and my schools. After university I worked in the education department for a few years. Policy planning - teacher numbers, class sizes, development of new schools etc. The only thing I was not directly involved in was curriculum development.
My only involvement with special Ed was providing transport for the kids who needed it and fighting with the parents who thought it was their personal taxi service.
