Better macro economic news for the world overnight. The Dow Jones index was up 700 points (2%) in the best daily performance in over six months after the combination of the debt ceiling result and encouraging jobs data boosted sentiment. The Nasdaq was up over 1%, the XBI biotech index up over 1.5% and the NBI biotech index up 1.75%.

The biotech sector performance, and larger world market conditions, which Race has very closely mirrored has been, in my opinion, the main reason for our share price decline lately, NOT a lack of the strength of fundamentals. My positive outlook with respect to RAC remains firmly in place and I’m hoping for a much better June for all of my stocks, most of which have been absolutely battered in a similar fashion - and for RAC with expected news to come and hopefully an improving outlook on the economy. The last few weeks have been absolutely bargain buying and I believe anyone that has done so will be very happy with their decision in the future.
