I would guess he must not have been innocent because there were too many witnesses, no one will want to know him. Now if he is innocent then that might explain why he went all the way to court but that then would say others framed him.
But if e were truly guilty then why bother with a defamation pursuit via the courts, strange
Theres only two options and I think imo it might be the first one= caught out doing bad things because of a possible deep seated inner anger that might have manifested on the battlefield, battlefields cause people to do terrible things. It always comes out in the end , just like Rolf H.
