It was a defamation trial, with a lower burden of proof than a criminal trial, in a case funded by the deepest of media pockets employing the slickest of legal talent.
I find it odd that he would instigate and persist with a trial if he knew he was guilty.
I have no idea if a criminal trial will follow, but I am going to wait until there is before I otherwise comment on BRS.
