This was a war where they did not have "friendly" civilians The "active" enemy were often children, women and old men. This does not excuse the actions but, as I said earlier, only those that have walked in his shoes should be the judge. It also seems that there are those that have walked in his shoes are making a judgement that I'm happy to accept.
