The most disturbing aspect of this story and the reaction to it by some here who call themselves Australian, is that their comments and prejudice regarding medical assistance has I think exposed the real under belly of racism here in Australia.
Simply by what they write, many here have shown they lack any compassion at all - not because they oppose people smugglers or people arriving on our boarder undocumented, but because they are so full of hatred toward them, they can not or will not see that to deprive any person medical assistance is repugnant to any fair mended person. It could also be argued that it is a deprivation of human rights - basic human rights.
I hope none of those persons here find themselves overseas one day being refused an ambulance after an unfortunate event because a person says 'stuff em....their a foreigner...let em die'.
