Currently i live in Gascoyne Junction and have been on the ground at the Star a while ago got to say the mineralization of the ground is amazing .
Talking to a few old timers out this way and actually met the fellow who worked the star with the guy who made the discovery,
They sent the first two crushing's from there to the battery at Meekatharra using not much more than crowbars pick and shovel.
Could write a book about the history of the place off this blokes knowledge, unbelievable how tough these men were.
Shows all the signs of something massive at depth here as the place is covered in volcanic rocks,quartz blows laced with, iron and pyritic material.
Nothing drilled at any major depth i would be itching to stab a drill into this.
Keen to take him back there as he has not been back there for 35 years and give me the full tour with DRE permission of course.
Keen to take some footage if and when we do take the trip for historic value.
