RBA Interest Rates to plummet early 2023, page-1998

To do it by the economic book --- interest rates should be higher than inflation, that is the rule
But the quoted inflation rate is a joke and if they raised interest rates to be above the true inflation in Australia, with the people scared of their shadow. the country would grind to a halt by the next day

So what is a government to do ??? they are between a rock and a hard place and Labor should have shut up prior to the election and not promised anything
But the whole purpose of the game is to get into power and then make it difficult for the other side to ever win

The people and the country are not in the equation
