I mean, I've kind of called that this will happen. And I'm sure other governments will do the same thing. It's nothing to push back these emissions and transition goals for EV's. If you can't build them economically then they won't be built.
This is why I believe the whole "Demand will be X so supply HAS to be constrained" argument is nonsense. In my view there is no way we hit the demand/delivery numbers currently being forecast.
And as a consequence prices won't sustain at the levels they were previously.
