Friday, 18th June Beer O'clock
Great interview with Tony Sage on Sky Business Channel this afternoon.
He is still in Greece and is expediting the approvals for Sappes and was very complimentary of the Greek ministers he has met.
He also talked of the overturning on appeal of the decision to halt trading on the ASX of International Petroleum [IPO] and Global Iron [GFE]. Note that Cape Lambert owns 13.5% of IPO and 19.6% of GFE. Tony is hoping for a rapid return to trading of both companies on the ASX.
He made the interesting comment that both companies had met with huge international investor interest and were both billion dollar companies! Yes, that's billion with a 'b' !!!
Now a quick calculation of CFE's shareholding value in these companies gives you ---------------- $331,000,000.00.
Just dropped my beer. Talk to you later.
