Oligarch,

Further to yesterday's note above, when I saw the banner headline for Tullow and Senegal, I was initially excited because I thought that the two leases referred to for Tullow might be the half of Sangomar Deep and the bulk of Sangomar Shallow that FAR forfeited for the extension on the leases being offered again. If this had been the case, it would have added plenty of credence to Tullow as a potential farminee with FAR.

As it stands with Tullow taking on the two deep offshore leases up north, this reduces the likelihood of them coming onboard with FAR IMO. They would be more familiar with the geology further north with their offshore Mauritania assets, so might explain the reasoning for taking on exploration rights for these two leases. From what I have read, regional geology changes quite a bit either side of the Cap-Vert peninsula (north / south).

Anyhow, time will tell,
