As I said last year: They should have applied it to the products they sold off kept the 20-30% of profitable SKU's dumped the rest, they would have got a profit lift immediately, and be alive today as they would not have sold off Business Units as unprofitable, which they probably weren't, its just an accountancy mirage that makes it look that way. What a shame: the buyers are laughing their combined heads off. The companies with bad or no management reporting are the ones to fail. Financial Accounting reports tell you nothing. Its historical and generally miles after you already know.
