I tend to agree @playwithfire. There's only two entities that make any sort of distinction between the two companies : Peter Mitchell & Phil Ash, so in essence Cosmo Gold is the parasitic twin of Adelong Gold (although it's sometimes the other way around depending on which way the majority votes are flowing during company meetings).

At this stage it's tricky (difficult) to imagine Cosmo repaying their $1.25M (interest-free) loan. I suspect the annual accounts auditor may have similar thoughts about loan recoverability prospects being on the sketchy side of the Adelong / Cosmo financial arrangements.
