What this will do is force the DRC's hand . They cannot turn a blind eye to this now. In particular Felix who it would appear has done a brilliant job in not addressing the situation at all . In fact I can't recall him even mentioning the words AVZ Minerals since this crap started (obviously intentionally ) . AVZ hold 75% legal title . 6o% of which we know is recognized by the DRC gov . Their Chinese masters obviously want control of the project which means no ML for AVZ . The Manono deposit is of no use to anyone sitting in the ground for the next 5 years . Whether Felix and the MoM care about being dragged into this on the international stage is hard to say . They have been jet setting around the world preaching the benefits of investing in the DRC . They are as clean as a whistle and open for business .
The easiest way out of this that I can see is an agreeable settlement $$ and AVZ move on . I think the ML is off the table , and for the DRC to illegally strip AVZ of their holding would only make matters worse for the DRC and cost them more in the long run . IMO

Well done Wombat. The timing of this request is critical because it now forces Felix's hand to stand up and be counted in front of his people.
The re-election of himself and his team is paramount to him. Their ego will take a serious hit because the DRC government now has to defend its position of inaction having been officially named in the Arbitration documents. The DRC Press will seriously go after Felix and his Govt. The people will start to be better informed about the corrupt dealings of Administrative depts. in the lead up to the elections in November and the ICC decision will become a critical factor to impact how Felix responds.
So how how does this play out for Felix and his new team in the short term? Well the time has come Felix to show some astute leadership and take back control of the Administrative award of the Licence. You and Govt. want this asset back under your control? Then take it back and pay up.
Its Time to move this project into Action and pay up for all the hard work AVZ and its shareholders have done in proving the worth of this resource. Stop the legal cases and move forward with a solid plan for the DRC on how this can become a critical resource for the world.
We'll take our $5 a share (price is now a premium) and we will move on out.

With the ICC decision impending in July, you and only you Felix, have to get your Administrative depts. under control and demand them to withdraw their actions. You won't be able to brush this aside any longer as the press are coming after you. The world is watching whether the DRC is going to be that place you claim to be as Open for International investment or the same old corrupt state that you took over..
