I believe Sports betting will eventually be banned in Australia or be taxed out of existence.

Fair play for fair entertainment, but betting on the human condition, is in itself, littered with self-interest.

The racing industry is fine as they are really weeding out the players that decide to bet on a crooked race, or on behalf of others.

I certainly don't mind an odd punt, but some teams will play for big money against themselves, due to their own decision or via coercion.

I've witnessed some really wild betting on-course in my lifetime where odds are not known before the syndicates launch.
