Buffett is correct here. There is no chance SDL is not going to finalise this project and see it out. They have already stated this in black and white.

George Jones states:

Former Sundance chairman, George Jones, said the company was close to signing agreements. Mr Jones told Fairfax Radio that necessity would have led to the board members being on the same plane.

There is no doubt the project will continue as stated already:

The West Australian mining company, Sundance Resources, says the loss of its entire management team in Africa wont stop its major iron ore project from going ahead.

Read the facts before hoping it stays in a halt for months. That would just lead to a outright panic.
