Perhaps the pair of platypus used Qantas to get around and the New Zealand kiwi used Air New Zealand. Who knows with these fanciful stories of Noah's Ark whether this is a joke or not? Dinosaurs were supposed to be around at the time of the flood so why not Qantas and Air New Zealand? To prove that this is not a joke both platypus and kiwi have frequent flier points.
Imagine the task of capturing a kind of every living animal, housing and feeding them in cramped quarters on the ark for around 40 days, and releasing them with no casualties. Really? I can also make up stuff.
