Globally, fintech sectors all saw their market caps fall shortly after Block finalised the deal with Afterpay. Do you think that Block purchasing Afterpay also made the Zip, Sezzle, SplitIt, OpenPay, LayBuy, Affirm, Klarna share prices go down too?
Attributing the Block price decrease with the Afterpay acquisition is what is known as the false cause fallacy.
