Firstly to have one filter installed highlights zero capacity for any breakdown or schedule maintenance Secondly most of these units are fairly standard equipment in this type of processing plant. A spare may be held onsite at another mine site.
The filter has nothing to do with the mill. They are not connected at all.
The thought that a plant would be down for this amount of time due to simple fabricated item, shows a total lack of expertise on site. It’s simple truck the original to Wyndham airport and fly to Perth. Deliver to Bluechip Engineering or (similar company)who will copy existing plate and load design into it SNC laser machine. There is probably is a detailed design drawing on site which could used anyway eliminating to need to transport. . I would think this could be fabricated and shipped to site within 72 hours maximum.
Just my experience gained over 30 years in mine maintenance. For PAN to meet its nameplate ramp up its needs a management shake-up. These soft excuses are questionable. Anyway I sold this morning as I can’t see Victor turning this ship around anytime soon.
Good luck to holders.
