    A stupid question such as this usually commands a stupid answer but I'll go to the effort of giving you a sensible response that you are probably not interested in anyway, given that you are spending your whole life on this forum only because you seem to take pleasure in other people's misfortune.

    For the ones who read the ML decree announcement in its entirety, saw the writing on the wall and exited at an ATH, I'd suggest that they would certainly agree that it was money well spent. However, do you think the $100m spent on exploration by the company was "money well spent"? Do you think the thousands of retail investors who have poured millions into AVZ was "money well spent"?

    With the value of hindsight of course the answer to this question at this point in time would be a resounding "no" but while most investors would have done their DD and understood the risks of investing in one of the most corrupt countries in the world, none of us could have predicted the mess that we have now found ourselves in.
