The Elders board is infested with academics and people who have no rural management experience. The Landmark guy is the only one with anything near rural industry.
There are a lot of big egos there who are unlikely to admit they have made mistakes. They are more likely to look around for someone else to blame, meanwhile Rome burns on.....
This academic and ego thing is a problem with other rural companies. PAG is also a good story stymied by political types. Even AAC has made a mess of its nest. Due to bickering and nobody flying the plane.
