I am completely over the chit show in our Federal Parliament … unsubstantiated/unproven claims either years after the alleged event or under the incontestable, cloak of parliamentary privilege are being weaponised by major parties, distracting all all facets of parliament, particularly our politicians are elected to progress, sending social media addicted journos into a frenzy … it’s as ridiculous as it is disturbing.

Like it or not, with the manner these matters are being raised, nobody can rule out that the claims are not opportunistic or vexatious, or the product of false memories, confected memories or mental illness.

One case recently was awarded something like $3mill, when nothing was actually proven.

Tell me the claims of recent days are not timed to take the heat off politicians exposed for conspiring with another complainant to bring down a sitting government.

Imo, these claims should only ever be dealt with through the courts and compensated through the courts when proven.

Also, were corporates caught out with the kinds of unproven or incontestable disclosures we have seen of late, many of the very government agencies not engaging with current cases and accusations dogging our Federal Parliament, would be lining up ready to throw the book at employers and all alleged offenders.

Its a sad, sad, woke’ish, me too’ish, social media fanned chit show.

Imo, these recent disclosures and circumstances are setting back the status of women in power big time.

Govern the bloody country and make progress for your constituents will ya … for God’s sake.
