    Hi pen

    My thought to your question........

In the 3 years I have been holding at no stage has there been any suggestion that the Cam Govt would reject a permit. The Govt would require everything to be in shape to meet their guidelines and SDL would do everything in their power to satisfy these guidelines and regulations.

This project is of the highest national importance and has been predicted to create between 8% to 9% GDP for Cameroon. I have recently read they would create 18% GDP but that may have been a misprint, if true they would want it and want it bad.

If Cameroon was flooded with money making mines this may have less importance, however as we all know Africa is one of the last mining frontiers that is full of varying resources. It is in the Govt's interest to secure this and secure it fast as not to allow exploration companies exploit other countries.

The Kribi port development has begun. Why build a port with SDL helping if there is no plan to ship their goods?

Cameroon does not want to miss the mining boat. This is the best and quickest opportunity for them to change from a developing to a developed nation and in the meantime prosper and better the lives of their countrymen.

It may take longer due to recent circumstances, however I have no fear that it won't happen.

    cheers
