@bevans much appreciated. I did not get to read your earlier post, so i may be missing some context.

The fact they may be squeezing in another well before it goes to stx is perplexing, given the permitted locations - when you take into account the "results" of LKR2. Agreed LKR3, if it has same deliverability as LD-1, could give them 200 bcf or thereabouts with the two wells alone ( i never did believe NWEs "revised" figure of 200 bcf for the whole (LKR and NE) field - they published it when the min board was installed). Also, LKR3 is still in an optimal location, as it was targeting the top of the structure in that area. And I guess they could modularise the plant (like stx is contemplating) to add as more resources are added. But ... given they're now "imp lying" theres a North Erregulla field and a Lockyer field...it would make sense to save the powder for NE appraisal - it has the oil too.

Anyway, they now well and truly control the data and the narrative. The new guy they installed has Roy Hill and Hancock heritage, as well as min, so he will well and truly tow the company line. Interesting that he has a construction manager background and did not come out of the oil patch. Loyalty is the key. You can always buy expertise.
