Do we have to imitate the Yanks in everything including bad taste?

We're better than that.

Our insults over time denigrates both sides of Government and fuels the anti-democratic arguement.

If we have no respect for ourselves then how can we expect others to respect us?.

There are other forms of Government waiting in the wings such as the Chinese or Muslim models and our lack of respect for our politicians inevitably enhanses these alternative Government models.

If we have not got the brains to voice reasonable and civilised political comment then, as in other walks of life, this ought to be left to qualified others.

If you dont face a court of law with this kind of attitude and language, then why attack our elected politicians who are the highest law officers in the country.The civilised way to voice protest is every 3 years at the ballot box.

Politicians need a clean criminal record and they need to declare their pecuniary interests. Unfortunately bloggers
dont!
