well, this one is et tu Gillard, Swann, the unelected Howes - Garrett - Faulkner - and lots of hidden cutlery wielders. (where's Penny Wong??)
Now I thought these words would never emerge from my mouth - and I amaze myself - (but Aussies ARE soft hearted under all their smart-ar++ness) - listening to Rudd now I feel quite sorry for him in this moment - as it seems he really believed in himself. A pity he was so self-deluded.
But he's dished it out - and now he's on the receiving end. What goes around comes around as they say.
Must be very difficult to stand there and speak at all weighed down by a heavily bleeding back - whoever you are. And he cried - human of him. (Who of us haven't cried when we got the sack! If it was the top job it must be hell!)
