I don't have a problem with your right to have an opinion, what I object to is if you are going to express it - Get Your Facts Straight!
Once and For All - We are not a communist country. Our in-ground resources do not "belong" to the people. Rather, the "belong" to whatever company has paid for the right to mine there, which is currently done (simplified) by acquiring an exploration lease, then by applying for a mining licence, then by paying production-based royalties to the host state. What is wrong with the current system?
