Sure renters pay, but the increase in rents is nowhere the increase in repayments, as a recent example...so the owner also pays and sometimes more
Keep jacking rents , less money will flow through the economy, businesses will lay off staff, staff cant afford to own home so sell or cant afford to pay rent then try and get them out and get other tenants who are struggling to get work to pay.
